Death Cab For Cutie... some bluegrass... some electronic stuff... some orchestral stuff... some reggae... I enjoy downloading songs from random bands I've never heard before and seeing what sticks. I love traditional blues, and traditional Persian music. You know, the usual.

    I'm not a big fan of anything terribly predictable, be it action, comedy or horror. I can't remember the last movie I saw and really liked. That may be because I have little patience or memory for movies.

  • Television

    Hmm, my favorite show ever is Northern Exposure. Currently, I enjoy The Office, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, reruns of Deadwood, and... I can't think of anything else at the moment.

  • Books

    Honestly, it's been some time since I read a new book. Weird. I love books, I just haven't really had the time, or library access, lately. My favorite book is Trinity by Leon Uris.

I possess a love for the distilled, the concise, and the cutting out of things unnecessary. I would usually rather be at home alone than out with a bunch of people. People have emotions and make problems... but I like some of them anyway.

I'm simple but not one-dimensional. I faithfully look at cuteoverload.com and icanhascheezburger.com. I like kitties and pretty glass and pretending to garden. I don't like theories with no practical application. I have a special fondness for soft things. My IQ is embarrassingly high, because I've done nothing with my potential. I'm a thinker, not a feeler. But that doesn't mean that I don't feel.

I think psychiatrists should prescribe kittens to depressed people instead of medication.

Politically, I'm a Libertarian who thinks that taxes are acceptable to fund things that benefits the public... That would make me... a Leftatarian? Liberleftian? Oh, no, that would make me like the guys who founded this country, a Revolutionary.

I like a lot of random stuff. I'm fascinated by things that most people don't pay attention to.
