Welcome to our D.I.Y label, Broken Beaker Records. The idea started 4 years ago in Florida, during a string of 4 hurricanes. The thought occured: "Why rely on business partners that you don’t have a close relationship with, when you can rely on the ones you trust the most: You and your friends.
With the success of our first release, Strange Powers - The Dig - We have moved on to focusing on releasing both The Strange Us and Sugar Bleep albums in 2008. A Roundtable Beatmaker Beat Expo... A place for producers in the MileHigh Area to come together and showcase their beats to the masses.
For our First Beat Expo, we had The Legendary Supernatural to come and move the crowd and get the party goin the right way. We had a full roster of talented producers from Colorado, w/ a few outta town guests to come and catch the vibe. It was defnitely a packed house and a whole lotta talent in the room that night. Supernat laced his favorite beats he was filling from the different producers w/ some hot freestyles. Leaving the people who were at the first Denver Beat Society, craving some more.
So Mark ya calenders for this comming up Sunday, July 8th, and bring some peeps down to The Roxy And come enjoy this dope innovative event. We have hot underground Super Hero, One Be Lo, from Binary Star, in the building that night, fresh off The Vans Wrap Tour, w/ other special guests. Its only $5 Bucks for people who are 21, and $10 for 18nup peeps. The Liq aint open on Sundays, so ya know we will have the killer drink specials all night long.
