Broken Boots are four Scandinavian veterans who got together for home jam-sessions in summertime 2006. At first, over a few beers, scaring the neighbours. By now, in serious practice at the Torvastad Kulturhus. www.torvastad-kulturhus.no/ . The boots are mended and the band is on the road again, playing for crowded houses

Singer/Guitar Player/Songwriter, Sverre Jacky Jacobsen and Guitar Player, Gunnar Mikkelsen, both born and raised in Haugesund on the Norwegian West Coast, got together for the sessions, after nearly 20 years of band inactivities.

Bass Player, Krister Palais, a former wandering Swede, who came to Norway with a touring Swedish band and settled down in Haugesund since beeing blessed with a daughter, joined the sessions, after a couple of years of inactivity.
________________________________________________________________________________ Drummer, Sambo Sandal, also born and raised in Haugesund and a former national pop-star, made his come back with the band, also inactive
for about 20 years.

Singer and Slide-Guitar/Harmonica Player, Rolf Petersen, joined the band after Mikkelsen retired. Rolf is from Carmen Island and made his come-back after 4 years of inactivity. He is also an excellent songwriter with songs that expand the sound of Broken Boots.

The jam sessions led to very successful local gigs and the band decided to go on with a professional profile. First step was a recording session at the ABC Studio, in nearby Etne.
