Live, the band establishes a funky groove and builds a syncopated sonic interplay between bassist Ricardo Rodriguez and drummer Joe Beninati on one side, and keyboardist Jon Huss and guitarist Greg Bucking on the other. Greg’s vocal melodies lead the listener on a lyrical journey through tales of love, desire, hope, weariness, and blunt acknowledgement of what is and what might be. And accentuating all of these are the soaring soul harmonies and infectious vibes of Pandhora and Charlene, putting the final exclamation point on each line and each song, resulting in a seamless mix of bluesy soul and New Orleans funk.
