Broken Center is a 5 piece that hails from Deland, FL with tribal drum patterns, heavy rhythms, and emotional vocals that come together in a tremendous balance. BC’s sound that has been described as a blend of bands like Staind, Deftones and Tool. The band ship of Broken Center has lasted over 7 years and hard work and effort is starting to show throughout the music scene of Florida .
With each band member having diverse taste in music, a new blend of rock comes knocking at the door without the stagnate repetitious sounds birthed in every song. Instead, a refreshing blend of harmonies and guitar solos and a new element with every track. Late spring of 2006 Broken Center recorded ten tracks with Bieler Bro. Records of Pompano Beach, FL. Along with production help of engineer Matt LaPlant (Skindred, BurnSeason, Nonpoint), the ten tracks have collectively been released as “Deception” in October of 2006; with gaining praise and popularity amongst the local radio stations venues, and new fans alike.
Broken Center Heads to the Studio in late 2008 to track 8 Brand NEW SONGS! Heading into the studio Broken Center has added a new vocalist and bass player into the forey. At Vocals is Don Jones formerly of My Conviction. His vocal style and aggression has added a new feel and power to the music as well as the live show. Rounding out the new lineup is Babin on Bass guitar and Vocals. A veteran of the Orlando scene Babin adds a Growling solid foundation as well as experience to the Broken Center Family.

"It can be hard to find decent music in a flooded market haling from Deland, FL .
Broken Center comes to the music game with their release "Deception." They bring a
rock edge with a lot of melody. I admire the vocals by Dave Lee, as in most groups
they have to add a scream now and then, where Dave focuses on his singing
capabilities. The music that Broken Center puts out on this release has a rock edge
without under or over doing it, making it a good match of music put together. The
tracks "Beautiful Misery" and "Without You." are some of the tracks that stand out
on this release, showing the true emotions with words and music."

"Broken Center could lead rock music into the next decade if they keep producing tracks like they're now. The 4real Orlando alternative is some of the best Indie Rock. An evolution of rock happens a little bit each year. BC pushes rock forward taking the torch from Papa Roach or Linkin' Park. BC has the right combination to really make some things happen in 07'. Their youth combined with their kick ass sound will be the necessary energy to send the vibe to a major, "Sign me." "
