Sounds Like
A collaboration of rock styles conveniently fit into a single band package
Broken Glow is an original Rock band out of Hartford, Connecticut. Fusing a variety of styles including Classic, 90's, and Grunge Rock mingled with Blues, Alternative and Jazz, Broken Glow has created a sound uniquely their own....
Broken Glow was started in the Spring of 2008 when Jon and Brenner began writing songs together. Paul was soon brought into the mix to add some much needed rhythmic support. Not long after, Garrett, a friend of Jon's from his Ithaca College days, was brought in to add another dimension to the band's sound and song writing. Several months later, after searching for the final piece of the puzzle, Alec (also an IC'er) entered to fill out the low end. Ever since Broken Glow has been playing all over CT and NY, and are always looking to expand their 'played there' map. In June they were featured as The Rock 106.9 WCCC as one of their Homegrown Bands. Armed with an exciting live show and a knack for writing great rock songs, Broken Glow is a band that will be hard to miss.
Broken Glow currently has a 6-Track Debut EP available by contact or at any show. Recording for their first full length began recently.
What's up guys, good to hear from you. I'll tell ya, I'm not familiar with a show on the 19th of December at Up, we just opened for Sugar Red Drive down there last Friday and after a trip down to NYC on Saturday, and then a show up here in Manchester on the 18th, we are looking forward to a little break. We definitely would love to jam with you guys, we just don't have that date booked! Knowing you are there though, I'll make it down for sure. Later guys,
