Outside of the West Virginia capital city of Charleston, is a rock phenomenon called Broken Image that exploded into the music scene in the year of 2000. It was Chris Curry, Adam Curry, John Kelly, and Jamie Ferrell. After playing shows for two and a half years, Jamie Ferrell left the band, so Chris Curry brought in guitarist, Chris Dingess. After getting used to the new band member, they recorded their first album in the summer of 2003 which was live in a gymnasium in front of 1,200 screaming fans. That following summer after the amazing live album recording concert, they wrote more music and then in July of 2004, they independently released an EP with all new songs called "A New Beginning." The album sold great, but things needed to be going faster. That summer after their EP was released, John quit the band so there was no bassist, but they still played shows even though the music didn't sound as well. In the fall of 2004, they released an online demo called "My Life" that made them popular in Europe. After releasing the demo, they took a break so they could start writing some new material for a possible full-length album. In May 2005, Price Couch, a close friend and independent booking agent took Adam's spot on drums, while Adam took the position of bass guitar and backing vocals. Adam already knew how to play guitar, so picking up bass was a breeze for him. They continuously wrote and played shows introducing their new material to fans to see the reaction. It was great. That summer, they went on their first ever tour which was entitled, "SUMMER IS FOR LOVERS TOUR 2005!" and it turned out to be somewhat successful. In early September, they hit the studio with producer's Eddie Sherman and James Feltner to demo their full-length album "Maybe Tomorrow... ." Still being in the studio, they took time off to go on tour again. This tour being without a title, but the most successful so far. After tour was over, they returned back to the studio and finished demoing their full-length, "Maybe Tomorrow..." in February 2006. Now, they're making arrangements to take half of the summer of 2006 to record the full-length album, and the rest of the half to tour again. The best estimate to give is that this new album will hit stores this fall. Any other information will be given out later on.
Thanks for reading and God bless! Chris, Adam, Dingess, + Price
