Broken Mile are real brothers Jason & Jon (Bass & Drums) and booze brothers Matt & Dom (lead vocals & lead guitar). This is un-pretentious rock 'n' roll music made for dancing to - spirit of the late 60's / early 70's in a classic/contemporary mash.
The band have been described as "A modern take on The Face's rock n roll hellraising" by the NME and have transformed into a strong and exciting quartet through constant gigging up and down the country. The songs reflect the bands desire to have a good time, working as hard as they play, and in the process creating a sound with a foot in both the old and new.

Broken Toy Box New Music Blog:
"Right the first band I have for you is called Broken Mile who are from the UK and have a great sound about them. They really stand out from the current crop of music mixing rock and the blues in a brilliant and exciting way. Music has not been changed like this since the likes of Nirvana and Pearl Jam pioneered Prog. Rock. Broken Mile have such a great sound to them that's its impossible not to like this lot. I tip them to be one of the breakthrough bands of 2009 if not this year.

Live at Northampton’s Legendary Labour Club
Feb 14th 2009
Broken Mile may have started out as a “Faces” influenced rock and roll band but they have now established their own identity as a good time, back to basics rock and roll band.
Broken Mile have a lot more energy and strength in their present stage act than many of the new wave rock and roll bands. Their eight-song set played live at “Northampton’s Legendary Labour Club” was tight and firmly rooted in “loud, raucous, rock'n'roll, blues and soul.
Matt is one fine singer who has a fantastic earthy and aggressive R&B tone to his vocals, and is supported by an incredible crunching bass, rocking drums, and slashing guitar chords that suggests a, “total in-your-face” attitude of “Yep we can rock”.
On they walked, plugged in and BAM!, straight into “Trap Door”, Guns and Champagne, A Toast of Sympathy. This amazing set continued and then concluded all to briefly with “Never Listen”.
The crowd gave a rapturous applause, went home with ears ringing, and it felt like the end of a great great party.
Great band, catch while you can.
