About me:
'Tales From Harbour City' Available now

Broken Umbrella Press is a small home-press set up by artist and writer Christian Butler to distribute work which has little chance of being published anywhere else.
The focus of Broken Umbrella Press is short fiction, though drawerings, poetry and even a music CD have also featured.
Our zines are now absolutely free and can be picked up from Rough Trade Brick Lane, the White Cube, Hoxton, BookArt Bookshop, Old Street, Koenig Books, Charing Cross Road, Waterstone's Gower Street and Islington, the Undereducated shop at the Fishmarket, Northampton, from Resident Records in Brighton or directly from us.
Distribution is so far pitiful, so please help me work up some interest.

We hope that you find something of ours that will wriggle into your ears, burrow down next to your heart (in a good way), and compel you to ROB US BLIND (again, in a good way: "Free downloads, ahoy!”…that is, if Myspace ever gets around to reactivating that feature).
If you like us, please, tell a friend.
If you hate us, hell, tell an enemy!
Be well,
GUSSY

No longer at Fitzherberts, it will be starting a new life at The Penthouse (above the Freebutt) TOMORROW!! Exciting!>!>!>!
You are cordially invited to our massive big party type thing, starting at 8pm.
Guest DJ's Old Mayor and The Dirty Socials will be spinning us some of their favourite party starting tunes, plus yer usual residents Meatbreak and Fokka Wolfe will be playing demos and new music until we’re sick.
We'll also be giving away some special ultra limited handmade t-shirts, Lobster Quadrille Magazines and hand numbered NFR mixes to the first lucky few who want them.
Owen Old Mayor made us this beautiful poster to announce the occasion:
Can you make it? Would be lovely to see you.
