Good news! We have been invited to take part in the 2009 Surface Unsigned Festival; the largest music event for unsigned bands in the country! Go to www.surfaceunsigned.co.uk for more details.
We need your support for this if we are going to progress from the first round of the competition for which the top prize is a performance at in IndigO2 at London’s O2 complex and a real possibility of breaking into the professional music industry! Here’s how you can give us your support:
Come and see Broken Watch play in London!: We will be playing our 1st round set at 7.30pm on Monday 23rd March 2009 at the Boston Music Rooms, 178 Junction Road, Tufnell Park, London. It’s the first time we’ve played in London and it would be great if as many fans could come along to support us and the other great bands playing that night.
Tickets for the event are £6 and can be purchased by contacting the band. Alternatively, it is £7 on the door.
Vote for Broken Watch using text voting!: If you can’t come along, please show your support by sending a text vote which will count towards our rating at the festival. To vote, please text LONDON 6182 to the following number 64343 (make sure you leave a gap between LONDON and 6182).
16+. Texts cost £1.00 plus standard network charges (20p goes to Oxfam). Please get permission from the bill payer. Customer services: info@surfaceunsigned.co.uk or contact us on 0800 434 6076
This could be the start of something big and we want you to be involved! Thank you for your support and see you soon!
Gary, Rick & Chris

Great set last night! Thanks for the CD. I haven't had chance to listen to it yet, but if it has the same songs as last night then I'm sure i will enjoy it. Speak to you soon!
Thanks Gary, i have to say you were my fav band out of all the others . . you seemed to enjoy it and not take things to seriously! yeh really good! You got one of our musicians vote's ;-) I'm glad you like the harmonys n stuff . . Rock 'n' Roll Also i must say, your face was a picture when they called out your name, Quality lol Anyways hope to bump into you soon, and good luck with Your next round gig. Cheers Lads
Great tunes guys thanx for the add. Had a listen to Mr Harper part II as you asked. it's freaky hearing your own (albeit sur)name in a song. I'll have to listen more closely to the lyrics but I hope my friends don't get hold of this song I'll never hear the end of it!! 'Adrienne' by the calling is currently the bane of my life! (not even the male version of the name). Take a listen to my material and let me know what you think. There's more on the way,
The Exits debut single 'Neon City' out Monday! And their self titled EP. Available to download from all good stores (iTunes, HMV, 7digital etc) from Monday 11th Aug - (12 iTunes). Also buy the video!!

"Straight into the sets for this one. A pleasant surprise and a nice stab at the dance rock hybrid so beloved of Kasabian, Primal Scream, The Music, The Sunshine Underground and errr Kharma 45. A damn fine single then and if there's any justice this will be riding the waves with The Music very soon." Cookie Club, Nottingham
