Click the link below if you'd like to get hold of the Bronze Age Fox Compilation, a lovingly crafted CD featuring each of our single releases to date. It's £10 (inc P&P unless you live really far away, in which case we'll have to go up the post office and find out how much it costs).
A 4-piece from Hanham, in Bristol, with a penchant for pop songs but a perverse interest in sullying them with all manner of subtle trickeries.
The line-up includes the shadowy electronic storymaker Red Setter, and the amiable producer of Instrumental Computer-Based Pop, Minotaur Shock.
On vocals, guitar, keyboards etc you've got Dominic Jones; on guitar and clapper you can find Thomas Stone, over there on bass and keyboards is William Edwards and the glue holding it together is David Edwards on drums, keyboards, computer, guitar and sundries.
Bronze Age Fox met at school and Scouts, and have been playing music for a while. Our first single was released in January 2003 on our own label, Bagatelle, and was called "The Sunshine Made The Desert".
We have also had releases on XL Records, Twisted Nerve, Wichita and Melodic.
In 2004 we decided to release a trio of singles, all lathe-cut on clear 'vinyl', and each one shaped differently. These sold like hot cakes and fetched silly sums on eBay. Just to annoy the collectors, we then compiled them on a beautifully-packaged CD entitled simply "Compilation", because we thought that's what Neil and Chris would have called it.
Since then, BAF have played numerous live shows (including the V Festival), and recently released their debut album, "Impossible!" on SVC Records. It is a more cohesive pop album than it has any right to be, and we are proud of it.
Really glad you were able to release Impossible! even if just via download - I've listened to it once through so far and like it a lot :D I'm sure it will grow on me as well :) <3
As a friend of Killaflaw we'd like to give you the opportunity of purchasing our uniquely numbered, limited edition CD single 'Revolution' which also includes the much loved 'Holy Fuck' on the B side.
There are only 1000 copies in existence and further copies will be sold without these unique numbers, so here is your chance to own a piece of music history from the LIPA award winning band dubbed by Eddy dance/rock guru Temple-Morris "the missing link between Soundgarden and The Prodigy"
The record is of course also available to buy as MP3 download.

Just to let you know about an extra-special New Root gig on Saturday 31st May @ The Croft, Bristol.
We're doing a headline set featuring Visual Projections from VJ James Bragg and everyone gets a FREE copy of our new 'Sick of Me' EP on the door. Venue Magazine described it as '...an extraordinary sound...a sort of power pop/goth/rock opera hybrid...the most exhilarating thing we've heard all week'.
There also support from Sally-Anne Langton - 'one of Bristol's most promising singer/songwriters' - plus Special Guests. All for £5. You can buy tickets in advance from www. thenewroot. com
Thanks and hopefully see you there on Sat 31st May!
