About me:
Yay, I now officially have my MBA!!!!!! I guess I am now a jobless ex-student. I must say, I am pretty proud of myself for making it this far considering the extent of the journey. It all started a little over 10 years ago when I decided to go to community college. Then after 7 years of full-time work and part-time school I earned my Associates degree. It was then that I decided that school needed to be a full-time venture. Two years later I earned my BA, then another year and a half and I completed the MBA program with a concentration in finance.
So just how is it that someone like myself, that has a strong interest in sociology and social problems, could be interested in business? Uh... I dunno, but at some point I would like to own my own nonprofit company (with a focus on either promoting equality or reducing poverty). I have a lifelong goal of becoming spiritually, mentally, and physically balanced, which is difficult for me because I tend to exclusively focus on one of these elements at a time. Right now I am leaning towards mental development, however, just before this I was focused on developing the physical elements of myself and before that I was very spiritually attuned. Very cyclic for me.
