There's something about a night full of taxi cabs, cocktails, music, and mayhem. You lay on a rug in the middle of the living room, waiting for something. it's time to go out and get it. Life is good.
Brookdale, a band in the vein of All American Rejects and Third eye Blind, is led by enigmatic songwriter Michael James Olson, with the guitar talents of Steve Osvold and the drumming of Nick Peterson. Together, the group creates bombastic pop music with unyielding energy.
Hailing from the Fargo, N.D. area, the band has quickly made their mark with sold out shows, airplay on regional radio sations, inclusion on the City Pages "Twin Town High X" album, and opening slots for national acts such as Eve 6. The group is currently preparing to launch a national college radio campaign for the fall of 2009 in support of their debut album "Still Going With The Lights Out".

mayhem meaning shots and loud voices??? I've got it all sewn up (almost) I just have to make sure I don't work super early on Sunday, if at all... heheh...
i'll miss you crazy singin' bastards...
but I won't think of that until after the 26th....
so tell me dear friends, how early is "early" for the "Early Show"???? Are we talking 5p-7p, are we talking 7p-9p, or somewhere in between???? I need input, I have to know if I'd make it, since I work til 3p in downtown Mpls.... On a Friday...in July...with crazy Ford F150 driving maniacs towing a boat and two jet skis to Pelican Rapids for a day and a half....
It's like the Holy Grail and Indiana Jones here, I must choose wisely or I may perish... Especially as it looks like there are no more bookings in the forecasted future....
Ok boys. . . I'm starting to notice a very disturbing trend with your show schedule. . .
Every weekend you have a show I have to work!!! Are you TRYING to discourage me from coming up to Fargo and getting drunk with you?! I have decided that you MUST incorporate some shows in MSP so I (and other MSP fans) can see you more often. . .
I keep various weaponry strategically placed around the office. I saved Jim's life with a can of pepper spray I had velcrowed under my desk. People say, oh it's dangerous to keep weapons in the home, or the workplace. Well I say, it's better to be hurt by someone you know, accidentally, than by a stranger, on purpose.
Sorry, but me and the ole' ball and chain that you people commonly refer to as Rayna aren't gonna be able to make it tonight. I wish we could, but we can't. Drop trou for me tonight.
