The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone. ~George Elliot

This Cabaret Starlet, Miss Talent Alaska, LA Music Awards RECORD OF THE YEAR WINNER, WeHo Awards nominee and Music Connection Magazine's TOP 100 Unsigned Act has always found various new and creative opportunities to share her talent.
Whether it’s starring in hit shows or writing her own one woman musical, ongoing studio collaborations, radio airplay or receiving rave reviews of various club performances, Miss Wilkes knows how to deliver.
At a young age Brooke put her very first original rock shows together, while portraying leading roles in theatrical productions ranging from The Wiz to Evita. The theatre boards helped to cultivate her powerful stage presence that would eventually manifest over and over again through each of her appearances.
Brooke gained attention with show producers of "America’s Got Talent", "Star Search" and "Don’t Forget the Lyrics" while lending her vocals to various TV shows, commercials and feature film soundtracks.
Over an incredibly vast career, Brooke has had the honor to perform The National Anthem at sold out arena's for teams such as the LA Lakers, the Angels & the Anaheim Ducks as well as share stages with the talents of Bruce Vilanch, Leeza Gibbons, Stephen Schwartz, the Beach Boys, Ben E. King, Jewel, Deborah Gibson, William Katt, Chad Doreck, Jai Rodriguez, Sam Harris, Susan Egan, the Pointer Sisters, Richard Carpenter, Greg Walker, Matthew Lillard, Babyface, David Foster, Wayne Brady, Vanessa L. Williams, Kristine W. and Doc Severinson to name a few.
Brooke put her theatre endeavors on pause, dusted off her notebook and wrote her CD, “Never Too Late”, which was named one of the Top 10 Albums of the Year by Music Connection Magazine. Then, after creating her own company that offered performance opportunites to fellow singer/songwriter/musicians, Brooke focused on her own original music career once more. Brooke’s 2nd album, the very literal and lyrically daring “The Vanilla Life” won Record of the Year at the Los Angeles Music Awards. This award winning album's content and themes are now inspiring Brooke's future theatrical one woman show. Under the coaching of April Daisy White, Brooke plans to unveil that show in late 2009. Until the premiere, fans currently spin Brooke's CDs while enjoying her local Rock & Cabaret residencies.
Currently Brooke continues taking on challenges such such as musical stand up comedy at the world famous Hollywood Improv, ongoing appearances with the critically acclaimed star studded 88's Cabaret and Upright Cabaret and recurring shows with her rock bands at the "Happiest Place on Earth."
