Influences	......Influenced by everything we ever heard. Everything is tougher in Brooklyn, even the music.
Sounds Like	Brooklyn's sound is part the city of Brooklyn's underground music scene. Their Several Styles blended into one. Rock, Blues and a unique metallic edge come from years of studio and local scene experience. Brooklyn essentially is a jamming style of band. The songs have not only rock and metallic, but punk and NY underground vibes. Foxxe is rock solid and brings progressive drumming. The Madman keeps the train running with powerful, solid chops, and driving rhythm. Doug Michaels vocals are powerful yet diverse. Unique sound...Unique Songs.

About Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a band which represents the various influences in music and on the streets of their hometown, Brooklyn NY. Their music is a direct reference to the energy, power, and vibe of the tough streets and hang outs in Brooklyn. The songs range from strong fast rockers to metal to power ballad to blues to southern rock. Known around New York and New Jersey as a jam oriented band, each Brooklyn show is unique and no two shows are ever the same. Fans come to hear and see something new each time.

Brooklyn born Bass player Marc "Madman" Wass has been playing in various projects since 1983. He has spent countless hours in many of Brooklyn's recording/rehearsal studios jamming and playing with some of Brooklyn finest and best known musicians. Brooklyn has a distinct sound. Marc has played in several local bands including, Double Shot, Methods of Madness, and with many of Brooklyn best in his "Brooklyn Blues Project".

Doug Michaels presence on stage is unmistakable. He exudes power as a frontman and has quite a range of musical styles he can sing. Both Doug and Marc will collaborate on the new music soon to be recorded. Doug and Marc had played with Mike Dell whose excellent work can be heard in all the tunes. His virtuosity was mainly responsible for a great deal of Brooklyn's sound and structure. He will be missed as he is persuing other endeavors. Dell we salute you!

The band "Brooklyn" has been writing new songs and recording. Marc Wass, Doug Michaels, and Foxy are "Brooklyn".

In viewing my circumstances differently, I have been really discovering!
