About me:
I was founded in 1930 by the union of the Brooklyn branches of Hunter College and City College, opening my doors in rented facilities in downtown Brooklyn. In 2005, I will celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of my charter with a host of events to be announced as the date nears.
Ground for my campus was broken on October 2, 1935, by Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia. Within two years, five Georgian-style buildings were completed. President Franklin D. Roosevelt laid the cornerstone of Roosevelt Hall on October 28, 1936, and I moved to the new - and current - campus the following year. I am one of eleven senior colleges of the City University of New York.

As you know 80% of New Orleans is under water not to mention the complete destruction of houses in other parts of Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. Thousands are missing or dead and those that are alive will be soon to go as well if we do not help. It will cost millions if not billions to repair the destroyed, homes and lives of these people. Furthermore these people are without food, water and clothes. If we do not help the death toll is sure to rise. I am not only asking simply for donations, i am asking for volunteers. If you can help, whether it be emailing, calling, making flyers or getting your fraternity or sorority involved please help.
If you can offer money, whether it be a penny to whatever you can offer, it helps. If you have clothes, canned food and bottled water, it is also a great help. With the assistance of Brooklyn College, ZBT National Fraternity, American Red Cross, we will be shipping these goods over to the needy people. You can call any of these organizations and they will back the validity of this letter.
For those in Brooklyn College, we will be having our collection in the cafeteria of the Student Center Mon - Fri. from 11 - 5 located on Campus Road. Representatives will also be in the College of Staten Island on Fri from 11 - 4 collecting donations. If you have any questions pertaining to drop offs, donations and or pick up services please contact me at zbtbrooklyn@yahoo.com, or this address frequencyent@aol.com
Thanks,
