THE CREATION OF A TRUE BROOKLYN LAGER Norbert Bürger - guitar, vocals Sean Noonan - drums, vocals One warm January day Norbert Bürger, (Bavarian guitarist) visited the Big Apple, where he bumped into Sean Noonan (New York drummer) who was drinking Brooklyn Lager. He asked the drummer for a taste of his beer and as he swallowed a sip his Bavarian's palate quickly ran away. Bürger said to Noonan, "you must come and feel the Bavarian spirit, since a true Lager needs to have the Bavarian spirit." So over the next few days both of them intensely dueled out musical concepts, brewing together a true Brooklyn Lager. The music of Brooklyn Lager uses the finest musical ingredients that include punk-jazz, western and bavarian folklore, group improvisation that travel to avant-garde jazz and stand up comedy.
