Hailing from Saint Louis, Missouri BROOKROYAL has been tearing it up and turning heads in their hometown scene for the last two years. An idea starting back in 2004 as nothing more than a "fun project" BROOKROYAL did not officially begin until May of 2007. BROOKROYAL exploded onto the St. Louis scene with a mission to rise quickly and that they did. Breaking records in ticket sales quickly with their determination & hard work, BROOKROYAL answered the fan's wishes & went to the studio in 2008 to record their first LP "Motives". With this album, the song "There Was a Time" was written and that was the true spark that ignited the fire. Grabbing label interest quickly with ticket & record sales, the single was picked up by KPNT and has been going strong since it's first spin. BROOKROYAL is Jack Wiese, Jason Zykan, Bon Lohman, Adam Stewart, & David Brown. All five have been playing in bands in and around St. Louis for years with a combined resume of sharing the stage with such acts as Disturbed, Evanescence, Seether, 3 Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Hollywood Undead, Staind, Filter, STORYoftheYEAR, Madina Lake, Drowning Pool, Royal Bliss, Adema, Sum 41, Chevelle, & many, many others. With demand rapidly growing for another album, the band entered the studio again in February of 09 to record more songs while also playing countless live shows to support "Motives". With the highly anticipated release of the "There Was a Time EP" to be released on August 23rd 2009 and buzz behind their extremely high energy driven live shows as well as impressive ticket sales, BROOKROYAL is sure to be a band to watch as they continue to grow larger and larger. There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
