Singer/songwriter Brooks Wood has been writing and performing his own songs to anyone willing to listen since the age of 14. "I've never written a song I didn't feel appeals to the average listener," the now 26-year-old Wood says. "I write about what I know, what I feel everyone experiences in their lives, what I think everyone can relate to – and hopefully what soothes even the sorest of souls."
As the principle songwriter and front man of long-time east-coast powerhouse Brooks Wood Band, Wood has created a catalog of honest, heartfelt acoustic-rock singles.
After BWB's split in late 2008, Wood began a new chapter in his life, embarking on a solo career in music. "As a band front man and manager, you're so busy that you sometimes forget the most essential component in music – the song," Wood states. "I want to get back to my roots, back to where I started, spend my time writing songs that matter to me, and let everything else take care of itself. Any song, if it's good, will find its way to the top."
And with this newfound happiness and confidence in his music and songwriting abilities, Wood has also re-discovered the basic fundamentals of success.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
