Following the emigration from the Bluegrass State of two original members, and the addition of an outstanding guitarist, THE DEEHAWKS are excited to reintroduce themselves as BROTHER BARRETT. Building upon THE DEEHAWKS' reputation for inspired harmony-driven performances that have earned them a broad following and critical acclaim as “expert Americana song-stylists,” BROTHER BARRETT endeavor to continue to entertain devoted enthusiasts and to earn the allegiance of the uninitiated.
BROTHER BARRETT count among their varied musical influences some of the acts with whom they have been fortunate to share billing, including Alejandro Escovedo, BR-549, James McMurtry, Tres Chicas, and The Avett Brothers.
