Influences
Brother G's main influence is Dennis Brown, who is recognized as the King of Reggae. Listen to the Brother G song entitled, "Tribute to Dennis" which pays homage to this Raggae Master.
Brother G, originally from Mo/Bay, Jamaica came to the US in 1984. He was a member of Reggae legend Urban Fire 3 years, doing many performances and recordings during this time.
When Urben Fire broke up, Derek, the Bass player from Urban Fire and Brother G formed River Jordan, and played together for 4-years, playing numerous shows and festivals.
Most recently Brother G has broken off and is working with his new band, GIDEON SOLDIERS. Brother G and GIDEON SOLDIERS plays strictly Roots music. Brother Gs unique writing style is flowing with conscious, positive lyrics and bring his listeners good times.

Roy “GRAMPS” Morgan, IS a member of the internationally renowned reggae group, Morgan Heritage, Gramps was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up playing football in Springfield, Massachusetts with his parents and more than 20 of his siblings.
Gramps is one of the legendary Denroy Morgan’s 17 sons who at the tender age of nine became a member of the family band. Denroy however, prophesized that one day, each of them would trod on their own journey to achieve solo stardom. Gramps, a burly vocalist and keyboard, player affirms "This has always been my father’s plan; we are all on an individual journey to express ourselves musically. We (referring to Morgan Heritage) don’t want to be predictable in the music; we want to keep it interesting and we want to keep it fun as well.
