Sounds Like
The satisfied ride home from a long day of happy sledding.
Two brothers, a keyboard, a guitar, some honest songwriting, and two deep, soulful voices; this is the foundation of Brothers McCann.
Ever since they can remember, brothers Mike and Pat McCann have been making music. As adults, with Pat on the keyboard and Mike on guitar, it only seemed natural to pool their collective songwriting and start playing together. The results were outstanding. The brothers are so musically in tune with each other that their individual songs took on new life when performed as a duo. They started by playing a few gigs in the Boston area and before long their popularity grew. Fans were drawn to their unique sound and stage presence.
At one of the shows Drummer Eran Shaysh and bassist Dan Bissex liked what they heard and asked to jam with the band. In the first few practices they all jibed immediately and Brothers McCann as we know it today was formed. Eran and Dan have found a balance between maintaining the brother’s originality while simultaneously bringing in new ideas and influences. Longtime friend Erik White on lead guitar brought a steady cohesive energy to make the Quintet complete. The enthusiasm of their live shows has been undeniably contagious and will no doubt be the momentum that drives them.
Their sound is vibrant and emotional; a fusion of honest, contemplative lyrics and a loose mix of pop/folk/soul influences set to harmonizing vocals. Their music ranges from measured, stirring ballads to optimistic and explosively energetic band inspired tunes.
They are in preproduction to record their full length debut in the spring of 2009.

No, I've kind of shelved the thin-line acoustic for the moment & taken on a few orders for hollowbody electrics. I do have an acoustic that is ready for the website, but not spoken for yet - the back and sides are red ... maybe it's meant for you? :-)
Hopefully pictures will be posted soon as I need to update the website. I'll see if I can't get out to see you Friday. Take it easy.
