Brothers N Blues is a blues-rock band based in Southern California. With influences ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, Albert & Freddie King, Albert Collins, Ronnie Earl, Brothers N Blues has steadily gained a solid reputation for playing their unique blend of high energy blues, rock, and Gospel.
Led by Mark Sells (lead guitar/vocals), the band also includes Andy Mendoza (drums/vocals), Mike Rincon(Hammond B3),
Richard Rodriguez(bass/vocals), Bill Leyva(bass/vocals), George Garcia(bass/vocals),John Childress(bass)and David Urquidi(saxophone)
They have been the supporting act/shared the stage with Tommy Castro, Johnny Winter, Coco Montoya, Chicago Blues Reunion, Joe Houston, Ike Turner, the Delgado Brothers, Little Willie G., Gino Matteo, and Teddy Lee Hooker. They have played regularly at several established venues thruout Southern California & Oregon including BB King's Blues Club, The Blue Cafe in Long Beach, The Galaxy Theatre, The Coach House, Rusty's on Santa Monica Pier, The Block At Orange, and have also appeared several times on local cable TV. BNB also plays at prison yards, outreaches, churches, coffeehouses, and various community events.
In 2005 Brothers N Blues released their self-produced EP titled 'That's Alright". The EP received great reviews from established blues journalists, blues radio Dj's, and fans around the world. Their EP also received FM radio airplay in the USA, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Canada, Croatia, the Netherlands, and Australia.
