Mark Steven Bonta (Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica) had his musical beginnings at the age of 12 when he picked up his first guitar. While his younger years revolved around the Hard Rock guitar influences of Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhodes & Jimmy Page, the 3-piece Pop Rock style of BooM embodies the musical growth that Mark has experienced since then. With bright melodies & tight rhythms, Mark leads this trio through songs that keep the listener's attention from beginning to end. Mark plays Taylor guitars and Suzuki Promaster valved harmonicas
Paul Hoerig (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals) is one of the co-founders of ..Brothers... His influence had been blues and rock, however, today he projects a rock-a-billy feel while adding a blues and funk edge. He has been actively playing bass since 1990 and also plays guitar and five string banjo. Paul played in blues and country bands for years when big bands were more common in nightclubs and bars. Lately, his interest has been redirected towards a tight power trio sound and more café venues featuring complex folk rock arrangements from newer artists such as John Mayer and Edwin McCain. Additionally, Paul has been working on Jazz standards and other more traditional music. When Paul..s bass lines are combined with Mark..s vocals and guitar, they create a feeling that moves the listener. After all, isn..t that the way it should be? Paul plays a Carvin five string jazz bass.
