Brownbag Studio by Dusty F. Brown offers unique jewelry made of glass and wooden beads, antique and vintage components, natural stone, acrylic, resin and clay. Turning things into pendants that are neat and unique is a bit of Brownbag Studio's reputation, as is using the vintage components in general.

Brownbag Studio is the moniker chosen by Nashville-area artist Dusty Felder Brown for her creative interests in general. Dusty is a stay-at-home mom turned jewelry maker turned sewing fanatic. Thus a business was born in 2002...

Dusty's line features pieces that are a bit bohemian as well as more mainstream baubles. Clay pendants are personally handmade in Dusty's home studio. A common response to these pieces is that they are unique while flowing with current trends. Customers can often spot a Dusty Brown piece before checking the tag. This is a tremendous compliment to any designer!

.. These images represent a .. very small sampling .. of Dusty's style. The possibilities of what a piece might look like are vast, depending on the day of the week, the weather, music, anything affecting a person's mood or overall sense of feeling. Sometimes you just wake up and feel vintage, sometimes feminine, sometimes edgey...you get the picture. That carries over very heavily into the line's extensive design portfolio.

Pieces are available for sale in boutiques and online. Pendants are available in transparent resin or clay. Custom made pieces can be commissioned. Whether you'd like the special beads you brought home from Morocco made into a very specific style or you'd simply like to request a certain type of material and length, Brownbag Studio can usually take care of it with a quick turn around.

Brownbag Studio is a one woman gig. Every single piece is handmade and uniquely designed. Brownbag Studio is always open to speak with boutiques about wholesale and consignment orders.

Dusty graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Mass Comm and minors and business and theater.

Pieces arrive at your door in a box with Dusty’s logo on top, tied with brown and pink polka dot ribbon and inside a small yellow or hot pink bag with a metallic bronze imprint of Dusty’s logo-style name. How much easier can it get for gifting your favorite funky friends with something they won’t see at the mall?
