Brownbelt formed in Brooklyn as an experimental drums-and-sampler duo. They later added guitars and bass and became a rock band. Martin, Tom, and Alex draw from a wide range of influences: noise pop, disco basslines, dub, The Cure, peanuts, Eno, rubber bands, and many more things.
