He also has just finished a remix for "ROMAIN CURTIS - MEMORIES" on Spinnin Records."PETER BROWN - FEEL GOOD" (MOCHICO PRIMO ! ) available onwww.beatport.com
BIOGRAPHY: Brown Sugar started his career while becoming resident DJ of Amnesia club (Cap d'Agde)in 1994 and then resident DJ of Amnesia club in Miami (1995), where he discovered house.As soon as he comes back to France, already impassioned by Soul, Funk and Disco music,Brown Sugar launches out into hip-hop sound for mix and technique and in parallel his interest for house. Since this time he plays besides many great international DJs (Bob Sinclar, Armand Van Helden, David Guetta, Antoine Clamaran...) both in French clubs, such as Follie's Pigalle, Gibus or Amnesia (Paris) and in international clubs ( Tunisia - Odeon, USA - Il Forno - California...).
Enforced by his musical culture, Brown Sugar turns then to the production when some musicians joined him to found "Del Vegas" around a soulfull concept. Then he signs his firsttracks "Felicidad"(Distance) and "So Sweet".(Kaa Records).
Besides, he works on a more club-oriented concept produced under his DJs pseudo"BROWN SUGAR" and then produces some new tracks the first one on the label Full House (Cyber Prod) BROWN SUGAR: "FEEL IT / CAN YOU FEEL" 2003. He met Antoine Clamaran and release BROWN SUGAR: " PREACHER / SUMBU " 2003 on the label Tumabata (Pool-e-Music). Then, most of his productions are released on Pool-e-Music. Brown Sugar remixes tracks for "CANDY WILLIAMS Feat DJ WHITESIDE : "MOVE ON UP" (Milk & sugar Recordings), THE GROWER : "MOVE YOUR BODY" (Caballero),Brown Sugar has just finished a new remix for ROD DEBUYSER - "COSINA" (Stealth Records).
He also releases tracks with disco sonorities under the pseudo of "PINK CITY". His last production, in co-production with Niko DeLuka (Prog City), is signed on the famous label Milk & Sugar Recordings, Niko De Luka & Brown Sugar - "Lift Me Up" & "Good Night" Compiled on numerous Ibiza compilations.BROWN SUGAR & NIKO DE LUKA FEAT DAWN TALLMAN - "GOOD NIGHT" played by Roger Sanchez, Antoine Clamaran, Laurent Wolf, Eddie Amador, Bob Sinclar or again Laidback Luke on the last Stealth Rec compilation !
They decided then together to create their own label: “SUKA RECORDS” in 2008, they have released on: “Niko De Luka feat. The 80’s Guetto Collective – Shake” (2008) with a Brown Sugar remix, followed by “Brown Sugar feat. Corey Andrew – World Keeps Turning” (2009). Others artists‘s tracks are coming on.
Brown Sugar entame sa carrière en devenant Dj résident de l' Amnésia au Cap d'Agde (1994) , puis résident de l'Amnésia Miami(1995) ou il découvre la house. Retour en France.Déjà passionné par la soul, le funk, le disco, il évolue dans le milieu hip hop de 1995 à 1998 puis il développe sa curiosité pour la house. Depuis il joue auprés de grands Dj internationaux (Bob Sinclar, Armand Van Helden, David Guetta, Antoine Clamaran...), et dans des clubs en France tels que les Folie's Pigalle, Gibus, et L'Amnésia (Paris) et différents pays, (Tunisie) ,(Etats-Unis San Diego - CA). Entre temps il redevient le résident de l'Amnésia (Cap d'Agde) en 1999 jusqu'à ce jour.
Fort de sa culture musicale, il décide à son tour de devenir Dj - producteur Il s'entoure alors de musiciens formant ainsi le groupe Del Végas pour un concept Soulfull. Il signe ainsi son premier titre " FELICIDAD " (label Distance) en 2002." SO SWEET " (Kaa Records) fin 2003.
Il décide en outre de produire sous son pseudo BROWN SUGAR un concept plus club .Il signe alors de nouvelles productions.La première sur le label Full House (Cyber Production) BROWN SUGAR: " FEEL IT / CAN YOU FEEL" 2003.Il fait la rencontre d Antoine Clamaran et signe sur le label Tumbata (Pool E Music) BROWN SUGAR : " PREACHER / SUMBU " 2003. La majorité de ses productions sortent ensuite sur le label (Pool E Music). Il remixe des titres pour CANDY WILLIAMS Feat DJ WHITESIDE : "MOVE ON UP" (Milk & sugar Recordings), THE GROWER : "MOVE YOUR BODY" (Caballero),et vient de terminer un nouveau remix pour ROD DEBUYSER - "COSINA" (Stealth Records).
Il signe également des titres aux sonorités disco house sous le pseudo PINK CITY.Ses dernières productions en collaboration avec Niko De Luka (Prog City) sont signées sur le prestigieux label Milk & Sugar Recording, Niko De Luka & Brown Sugar - "Lift Me Up" & "Good Night" Compilés sur de nombreuses compilations d’Ibiza .BROWN SUGAR & NIKO DE LUKA FEAT DAWN TALLMAN - "GOOD NIGHT" et joué par les plus grands dj's tel que : Roger Sanchez, Antoine Clamaran, Laurent Wolf, Eddie Amador, Bob Sinclar ou encore Laidback Luke sur la dernière compilation Stealth Rec !
