   Informazioni su Brownsville Station
Excerpt from "Rockabilly's "Dark Ages" Late 60's - Early 70's" , Revue Chicago magazine.

"...Brownsville Station also performed amplified versions of Rockabilly standards alongside their own Proto - Punk Motor City originals. They recorded probably the only cover version of "Rumble" in 1970 , and , eventually , cut the terrific Novelty - Rocker , "The Maritian Boogie", which cross - referenced Junior Parker's "Feelin' Good" and Harmonica Frank's "Rockin' Chair Daddy" (Both on Sun.). The late Cub Koda , the band's singer and guitarist , went on to be known as a foremost authority on Rockabilly. In my limited dealings with him , I just knew him as a sweetheart of a guy.".

You know , Wolfman Jack and Cub Koda were sitting around at the diner in Rock'n'Roll Heaven , when who should they meet .....But a MARTIAN ! Yeah , you know , like from the planet Mars. Well , there he was. Funny colored sticks on his plate , he says "Here, Wolfman , TRY one.". The ol' Wolfman took a drag from that funny cigarette and says , "THAI SMOKEM BOON DAI YEA , THAI SMOKEM BOO!!". So , The Cubmaster tries one of those Martian cigarettes , and says "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FEEL !!! SO GOOD !!!!!!YES I DO!!! GONNA BOOGIE!!! LAWD , TILL BREAK OF DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know what those Martian cigarettes do , really , but The White Castle in Rock'n'Roll Heaven did a HELL of a business that night.

Best wishes from Devils Creek - Glad to have you as a friend here on myspace. The great thing about myspace is that you can link up with kindred spirits!.

DEVILS CREEK: Bullfrog Blues

"Here's something a bit different. These guys are heavily influenced by Rory Gallagher, Status Quo and early 70's British bluesy hard rock. They've got a great groove in the rhythm section, a fine guitarist in Guy Rosewall, and their album 'Bullfrog Blues' is recommended! The album includes a rockin' take on Rory's "Seven Days". Definitely not another SRV clone"

"The band is driven beautifully by Terry Brown on drums and Tim Chapple on bass, the latter laying down a stomping beat on every number.......... on the showing of this album I would strongly recommend them" (Ian McKenzie - Blues In The South).

ROCKING THE BLUES WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER GROOVE – THIS ENGLISH TRIO TAKE THE RORY GALLAGHER / HENDRIX BLUEPRINT AND BRING IT KICKING AND SCREAMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU.

Hello from the Red Planet!
May fireworks light up your sky! Sometimes music bounces from inside your head to the next dimension and sometimes it's right in front of you. Just grab the magic and go for broke!
I've always prided myself on having a low IQ since I was made with cheap re-processed American parts and a third class robot brain. Did you ever hear a synthetic human spouting philosophy in his underwear?

PPS ZZ Van Hendrix says that he remembers you from a past lifetime...I think he was a pretzel.
PPPS We're building a giant TV-Radio Internet Link on Mars so that we can pick-up your My Space Page. Don't want to miss anything. We’ll be watching you…

HAPPY BELATED ACROSS THE UNIVERSE DAY!!!
From the ROBOTS FROM MARS

Music from Earth has been deliberately launched into space by humankind. Other than attaching a disc to a spacecraft or randomly broadcasting TV and radio signals, the Third Planet has never before attempted to share it’s musical culture with the Heavens.
A Beatles song has been beamed out into the galaxy. NASA broadcasted the song, "Across the Universe", through the transmitters of its deep space communications network on the 40th anniversary of the songs recording at London's Abbey Road studios. February 4th also commemorated the space agency's 50th anniversary. The music was converted into digital data and sent on a 431 light year-journey towards Polaris, the North Star. The broadcast began its galactic crossing at 7 p.m. EST/February 4th 2008. Martian Side note: It might take awhile for the flower children around Polaris to respond to this broadcast. They prefer space polkas and hate all forms of technology.
WE NEED A BASSIST!
