Good luck in Mexica. I know you wil be transalting for everyone. Make sure Tilly knows the words Agua, Cerveza, and Dinero. What she will need to get around. Buen Suerte. Bye MC
I didn't know what kind of venue Tilly was playing in at the Hotel Cafe. There were so little info, until near show time, I didn't realize you (BTW) would not be there. I read later on myspace that some of the band are touring with various artists. Anyway I read that Tilly had a great show Sat. nite with Mike Viola.
Can't wait to hear your blog after the Hotel Cafe show tonite! I know the show will be great! Mandy (Tilly) is so very talented! A great artist, with a great band!
Now it's everyones favorite time of day...QUESTION TIME!
Now that we know the color of your favorite M and M (who could have guessed it was red-yellow-green-brown-blue-orange?), can you please tell us loving fans who are help rapt in attention much like an idiot held in suspense with a piece of paper that says "please turn over" on both sides, can you tell us what it was like to work with Macauley Culkin and Michael Stipe? Were you afraid of vampires in their presence? I know I would have been. Especially with Macauley Culkin, those big rose bud lips scream Vampire! Btw, how do you feel that he performed in the video for "Sunday" by Sonic Youth? I thought his acting was contrived and less than stellar.
Thanks so much for your time, attention, and loving interpretations and responses to these questions!
Also, I heard that the new album was going to be much more Avant Garde, and you've been listening to a lot of Faust, Neu! and Can!
I have an additional question. I know you haven't publically revealed your answers to the previous questions which I'm sure boggled your mind with the intensely personal vibe that they gave off.
I know the questions boggled my mind when they were revealed to me in a joint session of both the Ouija Board and the Magic 8 Ball. Both of which are entirely all too accurate when they are used in conjunction with each other and a Telescope so that one can assertain the Globe-Sphere-Earths position in the Cosmos, the Universe and the other Spheres, Torii and Relative Orbits which we simultaneously subconciously occupy.
No, I do not know what any of this really means, in case you were wondering.
So, my question is this.
It's the ninth hole at the U.S. Open, you are 134 yards from the pin, there is a southeasterly wind whipping losely at about 8 Nauts, you have on a cute pair of pink cool-lots and an orange visor (why is beyond me, maybe it's laundry day?), you are getting ready to tee up for the shot, and you sneeze! There is a booger hanging down the side of your face, and it's gross and slimy.
What's your favorite color m and m?
Thanks again for your time. These are all really really important questions, and we're changing the lives of people everywhere (for the better!)
Woo hoo!!! The BTW is back in Hotel Cafe!!! That is great, I have waited quite some time for Tilly to be back on stage, I'm so glad that you guys are back. I just loved the last concert at the Hotel Cafe, it's such an intimate venue it's a great experience to be there. Well, I'll be seeeing you guys in action in a couple of weeks.
What is the biggest improvement to the culture of Western Civilization, the fish taco or the choco taco?
We're working with an intense deadline here, so the quicker you can answer these questions, the better off all of our lives will be!
We have a lot of information to detail, extrapolate, analyze and ponder here about your feelings on a multitude of appropriate issues here in the world, and we are quite excited to hear your views! Thanks again for your time!
OK, so I heard that Mandy checks this page like 27 times a day in between her backrubs, cappucinos, shots of sambuka, zen meditation sessions, bike rides, guitar lessons, high fashion photo shoots, press functions, fashion parties and inspirational seminars where she shows young children how to apply max factor makeup right before she gives them a high five for being so mature!
I have a couple of questions for Mandy...maybe more than a couple...but I'll start off slowly.
#1-- (Clears throat) Hello, How Are you? Is it ok if I call you Amanda? Mandy sounds kind of childish like we are school yard chums or like it is some kind of female version of Andy to me.
#2-- You have said that your latest album is "intensely personal"... is it really "intensely personal" or is it "personally intense"? Also, did you listen to a lot of Tori Amos before you came out with it? What's your favorite Tori Amos album? Would you consider a world tour with Cat Power? Have you heard Cat Power's album "You are Free"? Is Cat Power an influence on your latest album?
Yes. That is all one question.
#3-- Tell me about your experience making a cameo on the T.V. show Scrubs. Do you think the T.V. show Scrubs is better than Lost? How would you say that the T.V. show Scrubs relates to the T.V. show Will and Grace?
#4-- If you could write any shakespearean sonnet and then set it to music and make a quadrillion dollars on it, what would you buy first with the quadrillion dollars?
#5-- It's closing time at the market, and you are pressed to buy something to eat for dinner. What do you purchase and why?
#6-- Is it true that you have an intellectual crush on John McCain?
#7-- When I say the phrase "Harry Potter" what do you think of?
(tacos is an acceptable answer, but not by any means the only answer).
Thank you so much for your time in thinking about these important questions diligently.
I am way cooler than anyone else who has ever visited this Mother Mary Loving website.
Don't even lie everyone. You know it is the truth.
THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH. I just wanted to remind everyone on this interweb space page that I kick all absolute effing butt and you are all jealous of my hot sexy stylings and my team is the greatest team that will ever be a team in the history of history.
Some people like to say I created the universe... which I won't disagree with at all. Because, it happens to be true.
Thank you all for reading this comment. Sorry for saying that Sofia Coppola likes to talk about things coming out of her mouth after they've been in her anus. Everyone knows that was bitter character assasination... also the time the Mike Myers was supposed to strip for a bachelorette party and he actually had to bring one dollar bills so that the party goers would have money to pay him and make it look like he was loved when in actuality he gave them the money to pay him in the first place...well that is a pack of lies as well.
This doesn't diminish the fact that I kick ass. I will apologize for these lies, and yet I will still manage to keep up my air of mystery, my pocketful of boners and my awesome smooth dance skills.
