Brownz Family, a name that defines the way of life and genre of music from a group ready to leave their mark in the world of Hip-Hop. the group is set out
on a mission, determined to convince minds that what they do is the future of Latin Hip-Hop. The group was established when Bobby Dreadd,Cordova and Markito two Latin’s of Guatemalan decent, began making music together. Little by little they started realizing that what they were doing had a very positive feel and sound to it. Funky Brain or Sick Funk, a Peruvian that had collaborated previously with the group decided to join them and add his talents to the music. Meanwhile, Cordova and his cousin Mystiko created a library of instrumentals so that the group would have a variety of music they could bless with their versatility and creativity. While recording was already in process, a new member was added to the group by the name of Magnifico. Magnifico, of Costa Rican decent began recording songs along with the group and Cordova. As a group they went on to participate in a national contest titled “HIPHOP4EVER” in Montreal. They successfully placed 2nd in that particular event. The Brownz Family has performed in Mexico as well, in the “Chavos Band” festival. At this time they are getting ready to finish their debut album “Libertad” with Mastered Trax Entertainment/Gccmusic. Although a release date has not been set keep your ears and eyes ready for this talented group, with several major labels showing interest in the group, there is no doubt that the music will take them to much higher places.
