About me:I produces and awesome documentary on the Battle of Shiloh. Pitch songs and artists to record labels. email email@example.com I am a descendent of Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. who established the Old Taylor Distillery in 1887. He was known as the "father of the modern bourbon industry".. The Colonel discovered his spring at Glenn's Creek near Frankfort, Kentucky. The water here gushed up so pure, so plentiful, that he knew he would never want to make bourbon anywhere else. So, beside this perfect spring, he built his distillery. And since he knew he was there to stay, he built it to last. Built it in the form of a castle, and made of the very limestone that was to give his water its intriguing flavor. The castle is still there today, complete with tower and turrets. It's the Colonel's enduring symbol of great bourbon making tradition. Colonel E. H. Taylor Jr. was also a descendent of two U.S. Presidents, James Madison and Zachary Taylor. George W. Crawford was the Secretary of War under President Taylor Administration 1849-1850 and he served as the 38th Governor of Georgia from 1843 to 1847. Jefferson Davis, the future President of the Confederate States of America fell in love with Zachary Taylor's daughter Sarah Knox Taylor and married Miss Taylor on June 17, 1835 at the house of her aunt near Louisville, Kentucky. I love music and I love getting beautiful ladies in the door of the biggest record labels in the world. I use to work for United Artists Records and I know all the movers and shakers in this town. My clam to fame is that I was in the Sound Shop Studio with producer Kelso Herston and Kelso asks me what I thought.of Crystal Gayle song "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" I told Kelso that was a number one Hit and it was Crystal Gayle most famous Gold record single and it went up and down music row that I had the eye and ear for music. And everybody on music row told me if I every fine anything that I like I was always free to walk into their door. My father William H. Crawford won the Howard Hughes Invitational Golf Tournament in Las Vegas in 1974. Howard Hughes gave my mother Jean Lance Crawford a full length mink coat.
