Myself and am lucky enough to have my sis Julie jam on her djembe and sing oh so pretty harmonies on occasion.

Neye Benziyor?
One guy with an acoustic guitar playin his heart out (I'm a little corny), trying to rock as much as possible and is possibly still stuck in the 90's grunge era.
Ok so here I go. I've been surrounded by music my entire life. My whole family is very musical and some of my fondest memories as a kid are singing songs at family get togethers and being able to stay up late to listen to my dad's vinal records such as Cat Stevens, Dr. Hook, Grand Funk Railroad, and of course The Stones. I could always see Dad's love and passion for music and that's where I get a lot of my inspiration.
I picked up the guitar around the age of 12 but got really frustrated with not being able to rock like Jimi Hendrix so after a few months so I looked towards the bass guitar and learned The Toadies Rubberneck album front to back. At Postville High I helped form the hard rock band Distorted Eyes. We wrote a lot of songs, putting out a couple discs and had a lot of fun.
After highschool I moved to Cedar Falls, Ia to go to school at UNI. Started playing solo acoustic shows and started to build a little fan base at school. I met up with Mike Staebell, hell of a lead guitar player and song writer, and we thought we should probably rock together so we started Stable Daze, pop/rock, in the spring of 2005. With Davis Michealson on bass, Travis Mead on drums we kicked some ass for a while, put out a cd, played all over Iowa and met a lot of cool people along the way. But all good things must come to an end and we all kinda figured out that we are better friends than band mates, so in the summer of 2007 Stable Daze disbanded after a few stellar final shows.
So now it's back to the solo gig. My sis Julie, who's got this killer powerful voice, sings and plays with me every once and awhile with her djembe and we possibly may have entirely way too much fun. Check out a show to get the full feel and don't be afraid to be that guy/girl who tries to heckle the band. I'm not ascared of you.
I plan to play as much as possible and we will see who I meet and what I run into. I'm back in school at UNI and once I'm done there I want to get out of Iowa for awhile and see what else is out there for me. I never want to give on my dream to be able to support my family by playing music. I don't know if I'm too optomistic but I think good things will happen if I keep my head on straight and never sell out to what is the most important to me: Family, Friends, My Music, and just being able to keep my head up and a smile on my face.
Peace I'm outa here!

I was down at Piano today and they are estimating re-opening at the end of September. They have knocked out a wall and will be putting in a game room and another bar - basically doubling the size of the bar. It is going to be amazing when it is done! I can't wait! I will let you know when I know more. Ben thought he saw you at Lollapalooza - did you go?
I'm going to France, Italy, and Switzerland for 2 weeks. It will be good to get away from the flood! The Piano Lounge is completely underwater. A floor collapsed in the building so we are guessing Piano is filled with water. It sounds like we will be reopening in a new location - they are saying a month but who knows what may happen. Hope you are safe and dry!
I was in such a hurry to get home last night I didn't say goodbye! You put on a great show! I am always so impressed by your talent. I will be in Europe when you play down here again so say hi to your family and have a great summer!
