I am a saxophone player living and working around Manchester and the North West of England. I'm currently involved in a variety of different bands and exciting new projects such as:
Bampoot is a quartet I formed in 2008 to play live some of the compositions I originally wrote for my "Dark Circles" solo project, we've got our own Myspace page so go and have a listen.
Mamma Freedom are an exciting 7 piece funk band from Manchester. We write record and produce all our own songs and are on the verge of big things in 2008. Check out our Myspace for a listen.
Zoot Serious and the Bellyful of Bop is an eleven-piece band performing high energy rhythm and blues. Playing repertoire from early Louis Jordan Jump Jive right through the blues tradition to the contemporary sounds of modern swing.
Aswell as all these, I am also busy playing in various jazz ensembles, depping in various bands, latin jazz, funk, pop and studio sessions, and teaching woodwind and jazz techniques around Manchester and Cheshire.
People of Manchester – we’re playing the delightful, Moho Live on Thursday 21st May. Their will be jugglers, taxidermy, colouring in, advanced sock puppetry…In fairness probably just music – but we may pull a few shapes! So get down! X
