About me: For many years I have worked as a professional musician traveling around the USA, Canada and the US Virgin Islands, doing opening act concerts, resorts, nightclubs both large and small. My band is called "The Bruce of Windsor Project". Basically this band is comprised of a group of musicians I put together selected from people I have worked with over the years. Together we completed my album/cd entitled: "Last of Windsor".
Starting on October 8th, 2008 I began recording my new cd /Album of Songs which will feature 8-10 new original songs. A friend of mine said it best when he called me a Renaissance Man. You see for 6 years I put my life on hold to attend to family matters that had to be dealt with. My parents were terminally ill and someone had to step up to handle their affairs. Somewhat like the plight of Atlas, it seemed the world was on my shoulders. This I can tell you... what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger and wiser. My sacrifices took a big piece of my life, stole priceless time and left me empty. My soul was drained and I felt as if I had nothing left. The basic fact is I lost much in the process. Despite the hard road I was on, I never waivered and held true to my promise. At this juncture in time, both of my parents have passed on. Knowing I kept my promise and saw it through I am at peace with myself for doing so.

An amazing thing happened to me back in September 2006. I got tickets to see my favorite all-time guitarist Jeff Beck play on Monday Sept. 12th at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ and then on Tuesday night September 13th at The Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. On Monday I was about 25 feet away from Jeff and could see him in full view. His playing was superb and really blew my mind. His performance inspired me so much that I started picking up my guitars and playing everyday that followed. Something happened like a circuit breaker switch clicked on in my head. It is amazing but true. A good friend of mine and fellow musician Bobby Corsetti said to me that when I went to see Jeff Beck it was like I went back to my roots and in so doing re-found the gift that I thought I had lost forever.
Since then I have been enjoying a rebirth of music in my soul. I was with musician friends of mine on both nights and we all were blown away by Jeff's mastery of the guitar. I owe a big "Thank You" to Jeff Beck and his band. In fact on my cd I noted special thanks to Jeff Beck for the inspiration and the encouragement I got when he left a comment on my page at www.myspace.com/brucedavidloeffert back in June 2007. That really blew my mind and gave me more encouragement to complete my cd/album Last of Windsor. Then on Nov. 1st 2008 Jeff Beck left yet a new comment for me which was so special and gave me more encouragement. Check it out ... Presently I am working on my new cd which will be entitled Rainbow Over The Rock. It should be completed and ready forsale in July 2009. Stay Tuned!

Vulcan Ambassador Soval: I lived on Earth for more than 30 years, Commander. In that time I developed an affinity for your world and its people. "Human fascination with "fun" has led to many tragedies in your short but violent history. One wonders how your race has survived having so much "fun."
