I got that Machine Girl DVD. it is from Asian Shock Cinema. SO it is extremely Grindhouse like. Plus all the violence is almost cartoony/video gameish. And every wound gushes blood. That being said I enjoyed it. But it is almost a real life anime--and not a classy one. Definitely not high concept.
