Bruce is a guitar player, singer and songwriter from Western New York. He's been playing in the Buffalo music scene for the past 25 years, playing thousands of gigs in many styles of music including hard rock, pop, funk, jazz and blues.
Some of the many bands he played with were Flashpoint, Mr. Funny, The Dooleys, Big Wheelie and the Hubcaps and JPG. Bruce is also no stranger in the recording studio, having recorded many guitar parts for various local artists and also putting out two projects of his own featuring all original music.
Bruce has recently teamed up with Gregg Juke to write and record jingles in Bruce's home studio. To date, they've done jingles for Blasdell Pizza and Cupolos' Sports, which enjoyed major airplay in the WNY area. They also have jingles for Bob Weaver Motor Sports, Hebeler's Sales & Service and Awnings Plus currently airing on radio throughout New York, Southern Ontario and Northern Pennsylvania. Bruce has also finished a jingle for Visionary Baths & More which you can hear on WJYE.
Bruce is currently the guitarist for Gregg Juke and the Mighty No-Stars, a band that covers many styles in the blues and roots rock genre. The band is gaining a large following in the four years it's been together by playing their own versions of cover tunes along with original material. The major appeal of this band is the ability of all the members to play off each other to create spontaneous jams with top notch solos supported by a tight rhythm section.
Bruce Rounds has signed a deal with First Act to endorse their new Delia (semi-hollow body) guitar.
Listen for the new axe at live shows and on future recordings by Gregg Juke & The Mighty No-Stars.
First Act is a well-known maker of student instruments, and is now moving into the
professional/high-end guitar market. Bruce joins a number of well-known First Act endorsers, including
David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, Larry McCray, Rusty Anderson (Paul McCartney), Henry and Jo Jo Garza (Los
Lonely Boys), Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick, Paul Westerberg of The Replacements, Tommy Byrnes (Billy
Joel), and many others.

Hey Bruce, check out the 'Rockin' Acoustic Circus' Myspace page...I play guitar with the guy that runs the group (Rick Morton)...the rest of the band is all under 20 and fantastic. Getting ready to start my Doctorate in Theology and teaching part time at Oral Robert University. And best of all, we are pregnant with our fourth child...yeehaah!! Blessings, keep the smooth grooves and sweet tones! (I have been telling everyone down here to check out your page)...peace!!
