   About Bruce Rundman
..

.
The Salt Lady Records label was booming in the year 2000, and by 2003 the company released a sampler CD entitled Extra Credit featuring highlights, rarities, and collaborations from all the label's artists. Exclusive Bruce Rundman recordings appeared on the record, including the previously unreleased Americana masterpiece "Thursday Morning," as well as new collaborations with cousin Jonathan Rundman for the songs "Omaha," "Continental Divide," and the now-legendary "Beige Slacks." Bruce also contributed a cover of the hard rock classic "Queen of Spades" for the Salt Lady Records-released STYX Tribute album.

Later in '03 Bruce turned in his definitive release True North, a brilliant new full-length album of electric rock, acoustic pop, and progressive folk songs. One critic from The Phantom Tollbooth gave the album a 4-star review, likening Bruce Rundman to luminaries such as T Bone Burnett and Elvis Costello.

Now in 2007, Salt Lady Records offers a new perspective on the songs of Bruce Rundman: Unorthodox is a stripped-down acoustic project highlighting the best material of Bruce's early career, cover versions of influential songs penned by the likes of Julie Miller and Vinnie James, PLUS excellent new songs like "This Ocean" and the new Bruce classic "Eleanor Roosevelt."

In addition to Bruce's solo performances, watch for his appearances on stage with local Upper Michigan bands Wolfgang and The Altar Boys.

I downloaded a bunch of low-charting Genesis tunes, and I'm loving 'em:
"Turn it on again," "Paperlate," "Abacab," "Man on the Corner," "Throwing it all away." Great stuff, dude.

Bruce~ Thanks for the add! I have always loved yoru and Jonathan's music! I still remember the days of long ago at Fortune Lake! You two were always singing something! I will have to find some of those old photo's and post them!

One of these times when we are back home, I will have to catch one of your performances!! We do not get back up there as often as we like, but we try!

Bruce that is awesome about the new bands. Are you playing shows with them or recording? anything new coming as a solo artist? Would it be possible to get a sweatshirt from you for Salt Lady, Jon told me you handled all of the clothing sales?
