Rather than influences, I am more "inspired by":
The Jam. Paul Weller. The Chords. Ocean Colour Scene. The Christians. The Undertones. 79 Mod Revival Scene. U2. Big Country. Squeeze. Kieran Halpin. B52's. Ska. The Coral. The Clash. Elvis Costello. Ash. Badly Drawn Boy. Strangles. Oasis. Blur. Billy Bragg. The Smiths. Lightening Seeds. Northern Soul. Icicle Works. The La's and Cast.
I like "good" songs from good writers. Even now, I remain very much a "student" of music, as I am always learning, always developing, always growing and always changing.
Sounds Like
Bruno Gallone doing Acoustic Power pop ....There’s no plans, no set style, no format - I just make it up as I going along…so, you'll have to make up your own minds!
Many years ago, I used to front REACTION.
Reaction was a four-piece Mod/Powerpop band from Burton on Trent.
Although, never signed, we did get to support some great bands – Including THE JAM, SECRET AFFAIR, THE RUTS, PURPLE HEARTS, FUN BOY THREE, DOLLY MIXTURES, THE QUESTIONS, BANANARAMA+ loads of others.
Recently I have been seen performing on BBC TV, Central ITV and also heard on National & local Radio stations with a song called Forever England.

My solo music now, can best be described (by me, anyway) as - "ACOUSTIC POWERPOP".
Although, happier song writing more than performing - with 70 gigs under my belt in 2008, I seem to have become increasing in demand and by the end of the last year, I appeared on TV (again!), performed on TWO live BBC Introducing Sessions AND supported excellent acts including:
IAN McNABB (ex Icicle Works),
KIERAN HALPIN,
3 DAFT MONKEYS,
THE JAM DRC,
THE STEVE GIBBONS BAND,
ACOUSTIC WHO,
THE TREVOR BURTON BAND &
DR FEELGOOD.

Hey Bruno, Good to see you're doing so well. Didn't get a chance to catch up on my last trip home, but we must make an effort next time. (unless you're planning on coming to Fiji any time soon???) Saw the Reaction thing on the Spanish web site. Interesting! What's that about? Do you ever see Dave FFrench? cheers, Andy
Supporting The Jam. Much respect!! I only got to see them once at The Apollo in Glasgow in 82. That was amazing enough but to share a stage with them...I doff my cap!
