BIOGRAPHIE
Le moment est venu de découvrir le premier album de Bruno Labrie, un jeune auteur-compositeur-interprète au style intimiste, qui souhaite faire sa marque en chanson grâce à des morceaux dont les gens se souviendront longtemps.
L’artiste de 23 ans se destinait à une carrière de joueur de golf, jusqu’à ce qu’il goûte au plaisir de chanter. En 2004, comme des milliers de jeunes artistes à travers le Québec, il participe aux auditions de Star Académie, et se retrouve parmi les 20 finalistes du premier gala. Il est éliminé le soir-même, mais l’année suivante, Bruno s’installe pendant six semaines dans la maison de Ste-Adèle qui accueille les participants. Il ne remporte pas le concours, mais les producteurs de l’émission l’invite à co-animer Demandes spéciales. Le passage de Bruno à Star Académie lui permet de prendre de l’expérience, et de réaliser son rêve.
Comme la musique est pour lui un besoin viscéral, il entreprend l’enregistrement de ses premières chansons dans son propre studio. c'est avec l'appui de Pierre Leclerc des investissements Leclerc que l’album est ensuite enregistré au studio Monocube en collaboration avec le réalisateur Jeff Grenier. Ensuite il cogne à la porte du directeur artistique Nick Carbone (France D’Amour, Kevin Parent, Lynda Thalie…), qui le conseille et le réfère à François Lalonde (Garou, Céline Dion…) ce dernier devient alors responsable de la prise de son du vocal (Libellune, Je croirai tout et Dans mon espace) et l’ingénieur en chef pour les remix de l’album. Suite à cette collaboration plus que positive Carbone Musique est devenu la maison de disque de Bruno Labrie.
Le premier album de l’auteur-compositeur-interprète mélange habilement des influences folk et rock teintées d’une légère touche de country. Les textes proposent quant à eux une escapade dans l’univers d’un artiste capable d’explorer avec simplicité toute la gamme des émotions.

Mackenzie and Ricky are getting married in May. How have you been doing? We are going Saturday and start looking at dresses. They didn't give me much notice but thats Mackenzie, right? LOL Oh hey! I already took the pics to be printed lol! Some of them were soo freakin hilarious! And i loved the picture of us ... it was sooo cute..so yah, guess what? 'member those surveys i was doing online? well, i got 2 checks so far! told ya it was real!! it aint like a ton of money, just like 175 so far, but its good coin to start with, right? you should really do it, now that i've gotten paid ..i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
