Bruno Tamiozzo was born in Roma the 27th of July 1976. He lived there for about 6 years, and then moved to Latina, a small town not really far from Roma. He experienced a troubled childhood, which led him to pursue a career in Art, also to find answers hidden in his heart and his soul. When he finished mid-school, he started to get interested in photography, and continued his studies at an art institute, where he graduated from in 1994. Later in the year, he entered the Architecture course at La Sapienza university in Roma, but he decided to not continue with it, also because of his increasing hate toward scientific subjects such as Math and Physics. He finally entered the Art Academy (Accademia di Belle Arti) in Roma 2 years later, where he developed his photography and direction studies. Those years were so full of interest for him, and was encouraged to pursue the career because of the brilliant people he met there. He found the way to express himself throguh a simple "click" on the camera! He graduated from the Art Academy with highest marks, presenting a thesis about the "Developing of the image and grafic through the use of the most modern softwares and electronic features". Apart from his love for Art (drawing and grafic), what really makes him "alive" is using his Reflex camera, which he constantly takes with him. During 2003 and 2004 he attented a reportage and journalism master, where he crafted his technique and got in touch with some of the best photographers from all over the world, involved in some major agencies and publications like MAGNUM PHOTOS, CONTRASTO, GRAZIA NERI, NEW YORK TIMES etc. After collaborating with local newspapers and magazines, he decided to start a business activity in Latina, his studio called BTpress PHOTOSTUDIO. He's mostly busy with catalogues, books, calendars, fashion etc. He's involved with the Sports and Arts area. Shot several concerts of national and international artists such as TOTO, IRON MAIDEN, DEEP PURPLE, STING, BRYAN ADAMS, URIAH HEEP, LARRY CARLTON, GEORGE BENSON, ROBBEN FORD and more... also worked for actors like CARLO VERDONE, ALESSANDRO GASSMAN, ENRICO BRIGNANO, BEPPE FIORELLO. In the sports area he got involved in such events as: Soccer Serie A, Supermotard World Championships, Motocross Italian and European Championships, Volleyball Serie A, Rugby 6 nations tournament. He will also shot the UEFA championships for 2008, and "MAIJIN" olimpics in Pechino (2008), and more. He's actually collaborating with agencies of images archive, Sport magazines, and Musical magazines.
