BIO
REVERSE TUNES is Bruno Tozzini, designer and audiovisual producer involved with experimental electronic music since 2000. Tozzini is one of the main responsible persons for introducing the "Breakcore culture" in Brazil, starting as a researcher, cultural producer and DJ in 2001, when he first established contact with collectives and labels spread worldwide.
He is the founding member of the legendary TEMP collective, center of artists and party-givers inspired by the concepts of the "Temporary Autonomous Zone", which made great noise around 2002 and 2007. The collective can be considered the precursor of extreme electronic music combined with visual experimentation, street art and mainly activism.
In 2005, he started the netlabel Digital Enemy, virtual base of TEMP, responsible for national and international releases for free, always having in mind new kinds of art.
TODAY
Since 2007, when the collective stopped its activities, Reverse Tunes began to direct and present a radio program called ZONA on the portal www.dnbonline.com.br and also on the Blog http://zonabr.wordpress.com, in association with the radio presenter and DJ Thiago Arruda. Among his last presentations, we can stand out the REVOLT party in Buenos Aires and the AV_BR festival, organized by the MEDIALAB-PRADO cultural center from Madrid.
There, he did a conference about Brazilian netlabels and podcasts which was followed by his live presentation together with Retrigger (Brazilian producer).
During his stay In Europe, he's also been to Portugal at Dezkalabro party, in Porto and Lisbon.
During these years, Reverse Tunes has taken part in the exchange of artists such as Knifehandchop (Canada), Sickboy (Belgium), Cavage (France), Michael Forshaw (UK), Rik Mayhem (Belgium), Amboss (Germany), Split Horizon (USA), Adrian Gonzalez (Argentina) and others who have presented in many editions of TEMP parties and ZONA podcast.
