Music has always been a part of my Life and it will always be .I am from a small town called Albemarle N.C.I started Singing in my hometown church at the age of 9. Now at the age of 22, I am taking a step forward in my music . Music is not just a dream for me it is my life. I knew from the start that singing was what I wanted to do more than anything . I have taken vocal lessons from age 12-17 but a lot of it I have just picked up on my own . There is something you might not know about me I have a twin brother named Chris .I Love to hear from all my fans on myspace . When I"m not preforming I am right here on myspace reading all of my messages from all my fans from my Official myspace page or I'm at work or at school . I want you to know that I appreciate you all and I adore all my fans and I am very Thankful for your friendship and support of my music . I am very appreciative and always thankful for my fans who support me and my music and who express their love for my music and talent as one of Nashville's up and coming Country Artist . To all my fans here on Myspace. I would be NOTHING without all of you. I am also a fan of all of you. You guys have shown that you care for me and my music . You pick me up when I'm down and you encourage me to keep fighting for my dream. I am truly blessed to have all of you in my life and a part of my career. Just like my recent album “Dream,” Albemarle, N.C. native Kristy Lynn is following her dreams. Music has always been a part of her life, and I have always been a hard worker. When I puts my mind to completing a goal, I do not give up. The same goes for my dreams. Since the age of nine when I first started singing, I have dreamed of becoming a professional Country singer. I made my first album when I was 12, at which time I also began taking voice lessons at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C. While in high school, I took part in Albemarle High School’s advanced chorus, where I received superior and excellence ratings. I also attended talent shows from elementary school age through high school. Though I am determined to make my dreams come true, there was a point in my life where I made the decision to stop singing, but that was because I did not know how to make MYdreams a reality. “There’s been many times that I wanted to give up but my fans kept me dreaming. I want to see my dreams come true, but at times I just don’t know how to do that,” Kristy said, adding that during this period, I tried out for Fox’s hit show American Idol. With the support of her fans, I began pursing my dream again, and Istarted by searching for a band. I have been trying to find a band for awhile now because Iknows that, with a band, I can begin to travel and perform shows to help make a name for myrself. Though I am still determined to bring my dream to life, I have not recently put on any shows or events because I am still looking for a band. I did have the honor, though, to attend a launch party in Mississippi for the Ladies of County Music magazine. “It was an honor to get to participate in this event, adding that this was my most recent live performance. To make sure that I'm not sitting by idly waiting for my dreams to come to life, I have been performing through karaoke and similar events. But this is nothing like performing live with a band and that is one of my goasl. On Sept 12, I had to opportunity to take my singing to the next level by creating my first music video , “If People Never Dreamed.” “I hope that this music video will help to get my name out there and to give more of a visual perspective of who I am and what kind of music I’m getting across to listeners and fans,. “I know one thing; I love people, having fun, music and most of all, I love to sing. I won’t give up as long as I am here on this earth. I believe being on stage is where I belong.”
