Due membri della band, Ottavio ed Andrea, suonano assieme da prima della caduta del muro di Berlino, il terzo componente, Alberto, è stato aggiunto nella primavera del 2006.
Il nome viene da una combinazione fortuita di elementi, nell’agosto 2006 era uscita in edicola una collana contenete tutti i films in dvd di Bruce Lee, non ci furono dubbi, la band venne dedicata a lui, eroe di tutti e di sempre, venne solo personalizzato il nome scrivendolo come si pronuncia.
Quell’anno la vittoria di Roccarock, manifestazione musicale locale, venne assegnata proprio ai Bruslii, le esibizioni live furono molteplici e tutte di estremo coinvolgimento si possono ricordare quella del 5 Quarti a Messina oppure al Muzik Fest di Calatabiano assieme alle migliori bands siciliane.
Chissà magari il suo spirito è con loro sul palco.
-2/3 of the band, Ottavio and Andrea graduated together in Sonic Architecture in the misty late eighties, before the Berlin Wall got disintegrated.
The missing link for the band was Alberto, promptly recruited in spring 2006, as “the Bottom End“ expert.
Lady Fortune handed their name on a plate when the “ultimate collection“ of their Hero Bruce Lee, was tossed out for the world to enjoy. Spelling their name the italian-way was not even an option.
Since then the spirit of their hero has followed them everytime they stepped on stage, giving their performance the greatest power of involvement: as seen in festivals such Rokkarock, Muzick Fest and 5 Quarti, sharing the Bill with the best Italian bands around.
