Jennine Tobiason starting volunteering at local shows at young age and knew right away that she wanted to help continue the growth of Heavy Metal in Vancouver, British Columbia. Brutal Ent. works as a team with other musicians, venues, promoters photographers etc so together we will be able to bring further solidarity to the heavy music scene in Vancouver. We will be putting on shows at all the local favorite venues, while also branching out to host shows at less used spots in the vancouver area. Besides bar shows we would like to reach out to more of the younger kids as well and will therefore be planning some all ages events.
Plans are already in the making for a bit of a huge Summer 2010 metal festival and we will be contacting bands for bookings once we have more dates confirmed. Keep your eye out for great lineups in the near future and you can look forward to plenty of shows from us in the new year- keep it heavy

On Friday September 4th Torrential Pain will headline this set while First Reign returns after not playing any shows in about 4 months. Nylithia will be awesome as usual and Over the Coals will be kicking off their Western Canadian tour right here in Vancouver. Skullhammer is going to rock a killer set. So last chance to come rock it out with those bands one last time before our beloved Cobalt shut down, so let's make it such an end that it will go down in history.
