In March 2004, brutus poncy banded together to form a living, breathing body of music that was tough to tame but easy to recognize. The four new friends found their means steering in the same direction and thought no better way to ride this wave than to spill it out through instrument.
brutus believes their live performances should create a wide range of emotions by keeping their sets unique and ever-changing with strange stage antics and ideas. Diversity is kept alive by performing music that ranges from rock to blues to funk while keeping a window open for improvisation and in-the-moment ambient risks.
