THE SONGS some have been recorded directly on to tape ~ others by multi-track 'studio style' ~ some may be updated if and when.
Love Lights The Fire A story of a friend's 17 yr old daughter ~ she's a lot less fickle now.
Such'n'Such Based on a Nurse who always arrived at the pub late ~ after evil shifts ~ and the calming effect of good friends
Cradle to the Grave This is based on wisdom and tales handed down from my Grandfather ~ plus a little bit of me
You're Not Welcome Here I once went to school with at real Gypsy ~ not a 'Traveller' ~ his parents used to move around the country to find farm work etc, really nice friendly people ~ pity people who move around get given the Nimby treatment. Sorry about the quality on this one ~ I played it a bit too quick and used a poor mike for the guitar
A Cover ~ Videoed ~
Bruxy at mice pace.
Bruxy (Kerry Brux) was born in a small village in Stafford shire, but now lives in West Devon. His first-name, Kerry, came from having Irish blood. He began singing in a group, but that split up as they often do, so he decided to learn acoustic guitar, to accompany himself.
Then came a career ~ so the guitar was left up in a corner until 20 years later ~ when he picked it up again.
Since then he has played at ‘Folk' & ‘Acoustic' venues and written the odd song.
So here it is Bruxy-songs, and thanks for dropping by ~ it's appreciated!
A very talented Emily Sanders (then aged 18) played Violin on the ‘Studio’ recording. Emily is a member of the Excellent Folk Trio ~ Isambarde
