Band Members Koko- bass/vocals Koko is a 'natural' and it shows when you watch her play...after learning she had classical guitar lessons as a child It made sense to me why her hands looks so 'natural' on the fret board...Koko has silently become one of the most solid groove bass players I have ever played with...she is always leaning and improving and after 12 years of playing bass it's hard to believe she hasn't been playing twice as long..Koko is from Japan and we have been married for 8 years now....she is the foundation of "Bryan Dean"------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ralph Gilmore- Ralph is the most sought after drummers I have known and I am quite a lucky musician to know him musically and personally......a "drummers drummer' Ralph is simply 'the best' as far as a pro drummer, team player and a true friend........Ralph played with the Grass Roots among countless other professional acts...he is on so many local artists CDs as a 'session' drummer.......I am lucky to say he isn't just a session guy...a personal friend who is part of my band...Koko and I both love Ralph like he's 'family"..Ralph takes my music to 'where it needs to go'.....there is no one else I know of who could make 'that happen'. Yup..I am a lucky guy.
InfluencesA few Jimmy's...Page...Vaughn...Hendrix.....Milt Jackson..all the "Alberts"......Grant Green...Pat Martino..Ronnie Earl..anything 'blues'...'rocks'....anything that 'swings' and or 'funks'...phat back....Miles...my dad RIP....any good horn player...all horn players have to take a breath......songwriting?.....Robert Cray is what I aspire to...I hope when I die I drop dead in the middle of a note onstage... a perfect way to end the solo.
Sounds Like“The Bryan Dean Trio was tapped to do a show at La Encantada as part of The Greater Oro Valley Arts Council’s Summer Concert Series. I had expectations going into the show and was not disappointed. After listening to their latest CD, “Pink Elephant” I was immediately drawn to their pure blues / funk / jazzy sounds and have to admit that the CD has a problem…I can’t remove it from my truck’s CD player! It’s so good that it’s been living in there for the past month! They are very talented musicians that can reproduce their studio sound live, while being accomplished enough to improvise and jam with the best of them. This CD is sure to be a classic among blues enthusiasts…give it a try and see for yourself; but beware, you may need a crowbar to get it out of your CD Player!” --Jonas Hunter Former PD – KLPX Special Events Director – Greater Oro Valley Arts Council "Bryan Has become quite the prolific songwriter" Mary Kool KXCI 93.1 "The Blues Show"

Hi Bryan. Thanks again for your fabulous performance at Boogie n' Blues at the Pantano. What a fun day that was! I wanted to make sure you know that Mr. Boogie Woogie is playing tonight with Grams & Krieger at Montgomery's Grill on South Country Club. It's really close to the Palo Verde North Exit from I-10. It's a nice early show (7 to 9) with good food. (I recommend calling 294-4009 to make dinner reservations and arrive early.) Would be great to see you and Koko there if you can make it.

Hey Bryan!
Just wanted to touch base with you and let you know I'm working on the review right now. I've been backed up do to new promoting duties, setting up shows as well as preparing to travel to Seattle in 11 days for an interview...
