When I was in fourth grade, my mom bought me my first drum set and the fascination with music and entertainment began. I continued with the drums for the next 12 years playing in a wide variety of rock & roll cover bands. While enlisted as an Infantry Machinegunner in the U.S. Army's 10TH MOUNTAIN DIVISION, I was told that there was a band jamming at the recreation center on post and they were in need of a drummer. When I arrived, there was already a drummer sitting in and what they really needed was a vocalist. I jumped in and sang a Boston tune and began singing from that point. During my off time in the Army Infantry, I played guitar and sang to VAN HALEN and QUEENSRYCHE.
When I received an Honorable discharge and returned home to Topeka Kansas, I found a picture of an old High School buddy in Metal Edge Magazine with the band DREEMWICH. I was proud of his success and a little envious at the same time. As time went on, I sang in various cover bands and then one day I received a call from my friend in the magazine. He asked me if I would like to audition for DREEMWICH, without hesitation I did just that. I made the audition and these guys were incredibly talented. We began to play local shows as well as some dates in Topeka, Chicago, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Boston and Michigan. Soon we were in the studio for a metal compilation called Midwest Metal Fest, some airplay followed and we received some commercial success.
My desire to create a heavier style of country music followed shortly after Dreemwich. I felt that country music needed something a little different, a little bit more power maybe? In my writing, I try to incorporate a lot of energy and some of my many life experiences into the songs and have come up with a small library of tunes that I hope you will enjoy.
2008 Was a blast! Flew into nashville for a photo shoot and back again for a label showcase at Buffalo Billiards during the CMA Fanfare. Had a terrific time and met a lot of awesome people as well as some unbelieveable musicians and artists! I am currently writing and recording a ton of material and working with a lot of people in the industry.

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them.
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.
The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.
But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.
Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second picture. Do you know why?
"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."
