Sounds Like
Aggravatingly catchy guitar and vocals. In fact, it's so annoyingly catchy that you almost don't realize what the songs are actually about.

About Bryan Remington [ iTunes Release = Feb 15th ]
For in-depth project details, read my latest blog.
For the short version, here's a brief summary:
1 - I hate the way major labels are flooding the market with sellout bands.
2 - Instead of aimlessly bitching about it, I’m going to destroy sellout music.
3 - I'm releasing 'City of Ember' on iTunes in January. It sounds like it would be on the radio, but the "sellout perfection" of this songs brilliantly hides it's sarcastically hilarious lyrics.
4 - By combating sellout music with music that sounds like Top 40 but lyrically makes fun of Top 40, I can trick people into thinking my songs are real songs by a serious artist.
5 - When people eventually read into my lyrics and realize they make a mockery of sellout music, they will reanalyze their musical tastes and hopefully stop supporting sellout artists.
By forcing myself into pop-culture, I can fucking obliterate sellout music. If I can get the public behind me, even the smallest financial boycott of sellout bands would have a lasting effect on the industry. This would reestablish mainstream musical innovation by forcing major labels to remember a word they have completely forgotten: Originality.
Consumers dictate who major labels sign. We can't ever fully eliminate sellout music. However, our buying patters can cancel it's majority.
