He’d rush home everyday to write and record them over pop and hip-hop instrumentals in hopes that he’d catch the attention of his older brother, Gerry, who was working on other projects in Boston with an up and coming producer, The Arcitype (@thearcitype).....It wasn’t until the fall of 2008 that Gerry finally bought “Bry” some studio time for his birthday. What started out as two brothers and a friend goofing around in the studio, quickly evolved into something much more.....Bryant recorded “Cruisin’ With My Lady” in his first session, and Gerry immediately brought the song to a station he was working at called BusRadio. As soon as the President and Program Director at the station heard it, they put it in rotation. The response from their 1 million listeners nationwide was overwhelming. As requests came pouring in for the song, it was clear that Bryant James was a hit!....He quickly went back into the studio and recorded “SuperLove,” which immediately shot to number 1 in requests for 6 straight weeks, even ahead of superstars like Kanye West and Taylor Swift. After “SuperLove,” Bryant wrote and recorded another Top 5 most requested song “ShakeDown,” and before he knew it, all 3 of his songs were among the most requested on BusRadio.....Bryant attributes the success of his songs to the inspiration he gets from his relationships, friends, family, personal experiences but most of all, he credits his fans.......“My fans are the best. They can relate to me.
